Last month the Department for Education (DfE) named 23 contractors for its £15.4bn Construction Framework 25. Who is building what is now starting to emerge.
As confirmed by contract award notices published on Friday 6th March, main works contracts for school building works have been signed with Galliford Try Building, Willmott Dixon ÂÜÀòÔ´´ and two with Bowmer & Kirkland.
Bowmer & Kirkland has a £54.9m contract for works at The Bromfords School in Wickford, Essex, as well as a £14.5m contract for Lime Hills SEND School in North Somerset.
Willmott Dixon ÂÜÀòÔ´´ has a £40.4m contract at Outwood Academy Kirkby in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
And, as previously reported, Galliford Try Building has a £16.2m contract to rebuild St Helens Primary School in Hartlepool.
In addition, pre-construction service agreements (PCSAs) have been signed with Willmott Dixon, Kier, Bam and John Graham for a further eight school building projects.
Willmott Dixon ÂÜÀòÔ´´ is working on Aston Manor Academy, Birmingham and Woodkirk Academy in Wakefield under PCSAs.
Kier ÂÜÀòÔ´´ has PCSAs for the Magna Carta School in Staines, the Brit School North in Bradford, Pheasey Park Primary School in Birmingham and Imperial College London Mathematics School
John Graham ÂÜÀòÔ´´ has a PCSA for work at Ridgeway Infant School while Bam has Swift Academy.
