Handyman needed in IP25

Job Title: Handyman (Blue Card Holder) - Prison Site
Location: Munnellys at HMP (IP25 6RL)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair work
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Supporting site teams with day-to-day operational needs
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site regulations
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

• Valid Blue Card (essential)
• Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work within a secure prison environment

Security & Background Checks:

• Applicants may have a criminal record; however, this must be spent and fully declared during the application process
