Liebherr Rental is the first port of call for customers who need reliable, productive and cost-effective equipment, whether for a temporary fleet addition or for extra muscle on a long-term contract.

Headquartered at Liebherr Great Britain’s state-of-the-art facility in Bedfordshire, the rental operation allows customers to benefit from the same high standards of machinery and service that are ingrained in the Liebherr philosophy.

Machines are located across the UK mainland ready to respond rapidly to customers’ needs. When a business is affected by increased production requirements, seasonal variations or breakdowns, a Liebherr rental will be ready to fill the gap at short notice. Where the requirement is for a longer contract rental, machines will be tailored to match the customer’s application.

Equipment from the Liebherr Rental fleet can be found working across a wide range of sectors – in ports, civil engineering, earthmoving, quarrying, waste management and recycling – allowing customers to operate reliable machines (all under three years old) and enjoying the financial comfort and security of fixed payments.

Material Handlers

Material handlers for the scrap and waste industries are available with an array of front-end equipment. Base machine weights range from the LH 22 at 22 tonnes to the 38-tonne LH 40 M. Depending on boom and dipper combinations, reach is from just under 11 m up to 16 m.

Wheel Loaders

Ranging from the L 518 to the 33 tonne L 586 XPower, wheel loaders can be configured with standard or long-reach arms and a variety of bucket options including high-tip and coal versions to suit the material being worked. Solid or foam-filled tyres are available.

Crawler Excavators

A selection of mid-weight excavators, all fitted with auxiliary pipework, is available from the Liebherr Rental team. The biggest model for hire is the R 970 SME, arriving ready for work with a full mass excavation specification and bucket capacity of 5m3 and the option of a ripper attachment.

Bulldozers

Liebherr’s Hydrostatic Bulldozers range from the 125 HP PR 716 to the PR 776 with 768 HP and 73-tonnes of muscle. Blade capacities can be adapted to suit the application and there’s a choice of single- or three-shank rippers depending on dozer size. The Tier IV PR 736 is fitted with a straight or 6-way blade and requiring only AdBlue to meet emission requirements.

Crawler Loaders

With crawler loaders enjoying a resurgence in popularity, Liebherr Rental will meet demand with its 22-tonne model in either standard or landfill specification. It’s an impressively versatile machine suitable for most industry sectors.
