With offices based in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Yorkshire and Kent, Amiantus can provide accredited surveyors for all asbestos survey types. All our Surveys and sampling techniques for suspect Asbestos Containing Materials are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive guidance document ï¿½MDHS 100ï¿½. All samples obtained are sent to an independent, UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis.

On completion, your survey will include a bound, full colour report which, can be used as a site register for Asbestos Containing Materials and will form the basis for your ï¿½duty to manage asbestosï¿½ in compliance with the new regulations.

We can assist you with your Risk Assessment and Management of Asbestos Containing Materials found throughout your site. Successful management of Asbestos Containing Materials is based on the effective identification, inspection and the implementation of an effective management programme. Working alongside your own staff, we can review your existing management plan and risk assessment and update your records with any noted deterioration, or further asbestos which has been revealed since the original survey.

Our experienced staff can also provide Asbestos Awareness Training for your company. Our sessions include an introduction to asbestos, power point slide show, interpretation of the ï¿½new regulationsï¿½, HSE video and an open questions and answer session. We can also tailor these sessions to be site specific.

All our Surveys and sampling techniques for suspect Asbestos Containing Materials are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive guidance document ï¿½MDHS 100ï¿½. All samples obtained are sent to an independent, UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis and our surveyors are accredited by the British Institute of Occupational Hygienists for types of asbestos surveys.

On completion of your survey, you will receive a bound, full colour report which will include digital pictures and site plans. The report will list all areas suspected of containing asbestos and independent laboratory certificates of all samples obtained by our surveyors. An initial risk assessment will be made, this will be based on the results and using a scoring system in line with the requirements of MDHS100.

Your report can be used as a site register for Asbestos Containing Materials and must be made available to those who are likely to disturb the asbestos during proposed works etc.
