The Contractor will be required to undertake testing in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. The scope will also include microwave leakage testing where applicable.

III.1.2) Economic and financial standing
List and brief description of selection criteria
Economic and financial standing will be assessed through the SPD (Scotland), including consideration of the Bidder's financial turnover for the last two completed financial years and any other information required to assess financial viability for delivery of the Contract.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required
The bidder must demonstrate a minimum general annual turnover of GBP 140,000 in each of the last two financial years.
This information must be provided within the SPD response. NHS Highland reserves the right to request supporting evidence prior to award.
III.1.3) Technical and professional ability
List and brief description of selection criteria
Technical and professional ability will be assessed through the SPD (Scotland), including consideration of:
Educational and professional qualifications of personnel proposed for delivery of the Contract;
Competence, training and experience of personnel undertaking Portable Appliance Testing;
Availability of appropriate tools, plant and technical equipment, including calibrated testing equipment; and
Relevant information demonstrating the Bidder's capability to deliver the Services in accordance with the Contract requirements.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required
Bidders must demonstrate that personnel proposed for delivery of the Contract are appropriately trained, qualified and competent to undertake Portable Appliance Testing in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. Bidders must also provide details of the test equipment proposed for delivery of the Services and evidence that such equipment is suitably maintained and calibrated where applicable.
III.2) Conditions related to the contract
III.2.2) Contract performance conditions
The Contractor will be required to deliver the services in accordance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. The Contractor shall ensure that all personnel are appropriately trained and competent, and that services are delivered in compliance with NHS Highland policies, including health and safety and environmental requirements. The Contractor will also be expected to adopt appropriate environmental and waste reduction practices in the delivery of the services where reasonably practicable.
