Description

Removal of Asbestos containing materials. Works under this contract include the removal of asbestos containing materials from Housing properties, including enabling and remedial electrical works, the contract was varied to allow for the reinstatement of ceilings following removal in tenanted properties. The proposal for the procurement is to include within the scope of the contract for enabling and remedial works for all asbestos removals and for the reinstatement of ceilings following removals.

Lot constraints

Description of how multiple lots may be awarded:

Each Lot will be awarded to a different Contractor, with a maximum of one Lot per Contractor. Bidders must submit tenders for all three Lots. However, where a single bidder is ranked highest for the three Lots based on the published evaluation criteria, they will be awarded Lot A; Lot B will be awarded to the next highest scoring compliant bidder in Lot B; and Lot C will be awarded to the next highest scoring compliant bidder in Lot C provided they meet the required standards. This Lot limitation is designed to support service resilience. If that Bidder declines the award of the Lot they have been successful to, the Authority reserves the right to offer that Lot to the next highest scoring compliant Bidder, and so on, until an award can be made for that Lot or the Authority determines an alternative course of action.

• Lot B - Management areas of Humberston & Rowlatts Hill, Central.

• Lot C - Management areas of Saffron, Eyres Monsell and Braunstone.
