Competitive flexible procedure description
The chosen tenderers will be selected on 10th April 2026 and the tender documentation will be issued on 14th April 2026. A single stage tender period of 7 weeks will be provided with a tender return date of the 2nd June 2026. The tenders will be reviewed and it is the intention to issue a recommendation and select a Contractor to complete the works by the 26th June 2026.

The proposed teaching facility is an extension of the existing teaching block at NSCG Newcastle. It is situated to the north of the main campus building and is connected via a new 4 storey link.
The external elevations will be constructed from render, rainscreen cladding and glazed curtain walling.
Internally, the building will provide 20 class bases including ancillary accommodation for staff and WC facilities.
