The Odense University Hospital has an area of 234,000m2 and a project value of DKK6.3bn (£757m).
The 743-bed, campus-style hospital is one of the first of a new generation of ‘super hospitals’ in Denmark. In addition to the hospital buildings, it will also include a university faculty building for teaching and medical research. ÂÜÀòÔ´´ is planned to start in 2015 with completion due in 2020.
WSP is part of the consortium Medic OUH, working alongside White Architects, KHR Architects, Dall & Lindhardtsen, EKJ Rådgivende Engineers and Oluf Jorgensen.
