Wates鈥� 拢35m design-and-build contract will provide a three-storey manufacturing unit and four-storey office facility with 30,700 square metres total floor area.
Haribo is investing 拢92m in the new facility, which will supplement production at its existing factory in nearby Pontefract.
Once operational, the new factory will produce 48,000 tonnes of sweets a year.
