Vinci has several high-profile projects on site in Yorkshire including nine Building Schools for the Future (BSF) schemes with a combined contract value of 拢170m, 聽and a further four, totalling 拢62m, due to start this year.聽
Elsewhere in the region, the company is on site with a 750-bed, 拢22m student accommodation project in Nottingham and is about to begin construction of a 拢10m multi-storey car park for Network Rail in Nottingham.聽 Based in VCUK鈥檚 Sheffield office and reporting to the managing director of the Northern Building Region Chris Hamer, Mr Shivers will take responsibility for all these projects as well as driving growth in the Yorkshire and the surrounding territories.聽
His new role follows the appointment of Martin Nunn as regional director for the Tyne & Wear office and Mark Thomas as regional director in the Warrington office.
