The council estimates the value of the opportunity at Granville Road to be in the region of 拢40m to 拢60m and holds out the prospect of an opportunity for a further 拢50m of development work elsewhere in the borough.
The council is already refurbishing 325 homes on the Granville Road Estate and now wants to build more on what it deems to be under-utilised land.
