The workers operate under the National Agreement for the Engineering 萝莉原创 Industry, carrying out repair and maintenance at major facilities. The improved offer will see their wages rise by around 拢2,000.
The offer was only narrowly accepted, prompting the union to look ahead to the next pay negotiations. Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: 鈥淒ue to the deal passing by a slim majority, Unite is now seeking to open negotiations for 2027 pay with the employers鈥� side as soon as possible."
NAECI covers around 3,000 workers at sites including EDF Torness, Sizewell B, Grangemouth, Drax, Stanlow ESSAR and GSK Montrose.
