Peabody Trust is paying 拢3.1m cash for the freehold of Stanhope House, 116 - 118 Walworth Road in south London.
The sale of the property is part of the company鈥檚 strategy to bring together the staff and operations of both T Clarke London and DGR, the specialist mechanical services and public health contractor that was acquired in August 2010. DGR will be relocating from its current offices in Brentwood, Essex.
T Clarke will realise an exceptional profit of 拢2.1m on the sale of Stanhope House, which will be used to support growth in target sectors.
Chief executive Mark Lawrence said: "The co-location of these two businesses will bring the benefits of greater integration and allow us to build upon the group's objective of offering our clients a broader range of services".
