Student housing developer Alumno has appointed Clark Contracts as design & build contractor for a six-storey, 262-bed development on St George鈥檚 Road in Glasgow.
The building is going up in the Woodlands district, west of the city centre.
Accommodation will comprise a mix of four- and five-bed cluster flats and studio apartments, with shared amenities including a ground floor common room, sixth-floor dining, study and lounge spaces, and landscaped courtyard areas to the rear.
The project is funded by Henderson Park and the professional team includes Stallan Brand Architects, RankinFraser Landscape Architecture, Will Rudd Davidson, Ridge & Partners and Sound Advice Acoustics. Completion is scheduled for summer 2027.
