Speller Metcalfe will take possession of the existing Memorial Hall leisure centre in Atherstone at the end of April, to prepare it for demolition and subsequent reconstruction.
The appointment of Speller Metcalfe as contractor follows the submission of a planning application for the new facility at the end of February.
The 拢28m redevelopment promises state-of-the-art facilities, improved accessibility and an energy efficient design.
