The five-storey building, on a brownfield site, will provide 119 bedrooms for students at the nearby Manchester Metropolitan University, car parking including disabled parking spaces, and cycle storage area.
Shepherd 萝莉原创 is due to start the 50-week construction programme this September. Manchester architect Halliday Meecham designed the building, which will have a timber frame and a BREEAM rating of Very Good.

This is the second student accommodation project in Manchester for Shepherd 萝莉原创, having also recently started demolition works for 拢45 million of residential space on Great Marlborough Street, on behalf of specialist developer Student Castle.
