He has been senior manager for five years, with a wide-ranging brief including health and safety issues and representing the CPA on other bodies.
He was instrumental in forming the Strategic Forum鈥檚 plant safety group in 2009 and since then has co-ordinated its activity, most recently chairing the working group behind the new Good Practice Guide on Medical Fitness for Plant Operators. He also chairs the European Rental Association鈥檚 safety and sustainability committee.
Before joining the CPA he worked for the Hire Association Europe (HAE) for almost 20 years.
