The deal agreed will see CBRE IM bring forward all the affordable homes at this new community of 1,250 homes. The companies had previously partnered to deliver affordable homes for the initial stages of the project, with the new deal seeing a further 152 of the homes built, including 78 for affordable rent and 74 for shared ownership.
In total, Persimmon Homes and CBRE IM will deliver 220 homes for affordable rent and 145 for shared ownership that will help meet local housing needs and offer a pathway to home ownership for first-time buyers and young families.
