Liverpool City Council has resolved to grant full planning permission for the construction of 268 homes on a site in Speke, to the south of the city.
The joint developers are The Peel Group and Barratt Homes. This is the first fruits of a strategic partnership that they have formed to bring forward new housing development on a number of Peel鈥檚 residential sites in the northwest and northeast of England.
Peel director of land and planning Louise Morrissey said on securing planning consent: 鈥淲e are pleased to achieve this significant success to help towards the continuing regeneration of the Speke-Garston corridor. Peel is happy to have found the right partner and projects to deliver significant investment in major new development schemes to serve local demand.鈥�
