The Pallet Loop pays partners 拢2-拢4 for each of the green pallets returned, encouraging construction businesses to recycle pallets, reducing waste and improving sustainability in the sector.
It has partnered with some of the construction industry鈥檚 biggest manufacturers, including British Gypsum, Isover, Superglass by Etex, Wienerberger, Barratt Redrow and CEMEX. The business is also expanding across Ireland, securing partnerships with Gyproc through its partners in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, CJ Sheeran.
Andy Williamson, managing director, said: 鈥淥ver the last two years, we鈥檝e shown that a circular approach to pallet use in construction is not only possible, but commercially viable and scalable too. The industry has really embraced the concept of recovering, repairing and reusing pallets, and the momentum we鈥檙e seeing across the supply chain is incredibly encouraging. Every pallet returned is reducing waste, cutting carbon and helping construction businesses operate more sustainably, which is exactly what The Pallet Loop was created to achieve.鈥
