New homes approved for Crescent Salford

9 hours ECF, a partnership between Homes England, L&G, and Muse, has received approval for 236 new homes designed by Buttress Architects in the Crescent Salford development, being delivered with Salford City Council and the University of Salford, supported by Greater Manchester Combined Authority's Good Growth Fund,

The next stage in the Adelphi Village development will deliver 151 homes across two five- and six-storey buildings, situated across from the 185 apartments approved as part of Farmer Norton Phase 2. The plans also include a further 112 affordable, Passivhaus apartments mirroring those nearing completion at Willohaus. Adelphi Village is the main residential area of the £2.5bn, 240-acre Crescent Salford masterplan.

The scheme was awarded £23.4m from the Good Growth Fund for 336 new homes, most for social and affordable rent.

Designed by Buttress Architects, the new homes will be accompanied by trees, planting and outdoor space, alongside cycle parking to encourage active, sustainable travel. Work is expected to begin on site this summer.
