New civils head for Harley Haddow

2 hours David Campbell has been appointed national director of civil engineering at consultancy Harley Haddow.

Campbell has 30 years experience in the sector, with two 11-year roles at international consultancies. He will work out of the the firm's Glasgow office, leading the civil engineering team across the UK.

His appointment comes as Harley Haddow says it has seen substantial growth for its Glasgow team, which has almost tripled in size in the last year. Campbell will join recent appointees including associate director, Daniel Murray and senior structural engineers, Elinor Reeves, Eric Graham and Ruaridh Gray.

Colin Tait, director at Harley Haddow, added: “David’s appointment is an important one for the business nationally, but it is also a strong signal of our continued commitment to Glasgow. The team has grown significantly over the past two years and we are continuing to invest in people and leadership to support clients, projects and long-term growth.”

With seven offices across the UK, Harley Haddow provides engineering, project and sustainability expertise across a wide range of sectors, with Glasgow continuing to play an important role in the firm’s wider growth plans.
