Mr Enzer has been part of Mott MacDonald for 26 years. He replaces Mike Blackburn, who has retired after 35 years with the consultant.
Mr Enzer is a fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers as well as a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and has an MBA from Cambridge.
