A 拢6m contract with Royal Berkshire hospital - 拢2m annually over three years 鈥� sees Mitie delivering mechanical and electrical services, building fabric maintenance, water management and landscaping.
Mitie is also delivering the management of 28 specialist services including lifts, generators, communications equipment and security systems as well specialist services such as medical gases, theatre validation and clinical lighting.
This is the first acute hospital contract to deliver technical facilities management awarded under the Government Procurement Service鈥檚 framework agreement.
Mitie has also been awarded a five-year, 拢2m a year contract with St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust, which is one of the largest healthcare providers in southwest London.
The contract, worth 拢10m over the duration, is to provide specialist maintenance services across the hospital including M&E, fabric maintenance and projects services to the 20 buildings in the trust鈥檚 estate.

Mitie has also has won a 拢4.5m design & build contract with Friends Life insurance company to upgrade two 30,000 sq. ft. buildings in Maidenhead.
The refurbished building will feature new floors and ceilings, and new reception areas with stone desks and walls. The work comprises a shell and core strip out followed by a refit to make them suitable to let to new tenants.
