The overall scheme will create 66 houses, flats and bungalows, all for social rent, for the housing association 鈥� part of Flagship Housing Group 鈥� and is going ahead with funding of 拢3.8 million from the Homes and Communities Agency and 拢500,000 from Breckland Council.
The first phase of 22 properties 鈥� 16 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and six two-bedroom flats 鈥� at Sweyn Close / Fulmerston Road will be built to Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. The homes will be 44 per cent more energy-efficient than properties built to current Building Regulations.
The second phase of new housing 鈥� 44 flats, bungalows and houses 鈥� will be built to Level 3 of the Code.

The first phase of housing is expected to be complete in March 2012 and the second phase is due to be finished in March 2013.
