He joins Laing O鈥橰ourke from Al Naboodah 萝莉原创 Group, where he was chief executive officer responsible for the largest privately owned UAE-based construction group, with a turnover of US$800m.聽
Before this, Mr Wells spent five years with Murray & Roberts, three of which were based in South Africa.
Earlier in his career he spent 15 years with Costain in a variety of strategic, operations and project delivery roles, having joined on graduation from Heriot-Watt University with a BEng in civil engineering.聽 He is a corporate member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Mr Wells takes up his post on 4 November and reports to Europe Hub CEO Roger Robinson.
