The council鈥檚 principal contractors framework is divided into two lots: one for works up to 拢750,000 in value and one for works costing more than 拢750,000 but less than 拢6.5m.
Work is expected to consist of new builds, extensions, refurbishments and alterations to existing schools. However any type of building work to any property including housing, and associated construction services such as hard or soft landscaping is included. Fire, police and health service properties may also be part of the remit.
Exclusively civil engineering works such as highways, major bridges or coastal works will not be included.
