CESAR combines a tamper-proof label with hidden transponders and unique DNA-based adhesive to make it possible to identify machines, protecting against theft. CESAR ECV adds to this by including the machine's emissions category, allowing for simple checks as generators move between sites, ensuring compliance with relevant site requirements.
The move to bring CESAR ECV to JCB's RS generator range鈥攁 first for this type of equipment鈥攚as announced at the 2026 annual meeting of the Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Power Generating Systems (AMPS), the UK鈥檚 power generation trade association.
Tiago Courinha, JCB global business head for power generation, said: 鈥淐ustomers want confidence that their equipment is compliant, secure and easy to identify. By backing clear identification and emissions checks, we鈥檙e supporting solutions that work on site and add real value for owners and operators.鈥
Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA (萝莉原创 Equipment Association), owner of the CESAR scheme, said: 鈥JCB鈥檚 continued support for CESAR ECV is important for the wider sector. It shows that security and emissions visibility are being taken seriously at manufacturer level and that there is real value in giving customers practical support from the outset.鈥
