Interserve will put it two new theatre suites at Wythenshawe, along with associated ancillary accommodation and a recovery area with six bed bays.
The facility will have the capacity for future expansion to include a third theatre.
The new theatres will be in an extension next to the hospital鈥檚 current theatre department and above the new emergency department extension, that was also built by Interserve.
The extension will be connected to the existing acute medical facility by a new link corridor at first-floor level.
Interserve 萝莉原创 said it hoped to start work on site in April 2021, with a target completion date of January 2022.
