The new Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics will be built next to the university鈥檚 Department of Physics and will house the Institute for Computational Cosmology (ICC) and the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP).
The 2,300m2 building has been designed by US architect Studio Daniel Libeskind
Construction is expected to be completed by autumn 2016.
Overall project value is 拢11.5m. The Ogden Trust has donated 拢3.35m towards the cost and the Wolfson Foundation 拢1.5m.
