Innes England appoints director

1 hour The Birmingham office of surveying firm Innes England has appointed a new director, Andy Johnson.

A building surveyor, Johnson joins from construction consultants MPP Group, where he spent five years. He has worked at Mace and Faithful+Gould during the course of his 43-year career in construction and consultancy.

Johnson has extensive experience in party wall matters, neighbourly issues, dilapidations, clerk of works and project monitoring, technical due diligence, asset management, defect diagnosis and schedules of condition surveys with risk management. He is also an RICS APC counsellor.

He was lead clerk of works for Jaguar Land Rover鈥檚 Triangle building at Gaydon and estate planner at their Whitley plant; he project managed refurbishment projects at BMW鈥檚 Hams Hall plant and advised Aston University and Wolverhampton University on their estate strategies.
