The Hive in Kelham Island that is set to become Sheffield鈥檚 biggest purpose-built co-living scheme.
York-based developer Grantside has appointed contractor HBC 萝莉原创 (formerly Henry Boot 萝莉原创) to build the project with construction consultant Edge as project manager.
On completion, targeted for spring 2027, the development will have 100 co-living homes, studio apartments, with shared amenity spaces 鈥 including communal kitchens, a laundry, a gym and yoga studio, office space and a roof terrace, providing private living space while also promoting social interaction between residents.

Alongside Edge and HBC, the project team includes architect Cartwright Pickard, structural engineer Arup, building services engineer Hoare Lea, and planning consultant Urbana.
