The four new Volvo EC140Ds were selected following a competitive tender process but the case for Volvo was boosted by the performance of the EC140B machines purchased by John F Hunt back in 2006.

The new additions will be deployed in the Essex-based company's civils hire fleet and on demolition projects. The machines will also be made available for hire.
