At the same time, Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau - BAM鈥檚 German civil engineering company - received an order from the city of D眉sseldorf to the value of more than 鈧�8 million for improving the accessibility to and from the campus site.
BAM Deutschland is Royal BAM Group鈥檚 German operating company specialising in non-residential building projects. It is building two faculty buildings in the district of Derendorf for Fachhochschule D眉sseldorf, which is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and has 7,000 students. The buildings will contain lecture rooms, study areas, recording studios, sports facilities and a service building that will house, among other things, a restaurant with room for 1,600 people and a bistro. The buildings will be located above an underground car park, which is being built by a third party.
