Bouygues plans 2,700 UK hires this year

The French company is the UK's largest non-British employer, it says, with 20,000 employees in the country. The company has launched an 'employer promise' campaign, dubbed Future Shapers, focused on roles across the business.

Above all, we’re looking for people who are committed and want to find meaning in their work. The group offers opportunities in high-impact sectors – energy transition, construction, digital technology, media – to play an active role in the major transformations taking place around the world.“

The company plans the 2,700 UK hires in its construction (Colas and Bouygues) and energy and services (Equans) divisions. The main locations for these jobs will be London, Birmingham and Liverpool-Manchester areas. Overseas, it plans 1,250 new hires in Switzerland, 400 in Australia, and 300 in Morocco.
