BDP recruits cities director

24 Oct 25 Multidisciplinary design practice BDP has created the new role of cities director to strengthen its position in urban design, masterplanning and regeneration.

To fill its new cities director role, BDP has recruited Colombian architect Natalia鈥疷ribe, who brings more than two decades of international experience on city-scale development across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

As founder of Urban鈥疻orld鈥疢atters, Natalia鈥疷ribe has championed regenerative urban futures, focusing on inclusive local leadership, youth engagement and systemic approaches to city development.

In her new role, she will contribute to the expansion of BDP鈥檚 鈥楾he Good City鈥 initiative, focusing the consultancy鈥檚 work developing city scale masterplans, guiding strategic urban frameworks, large-scale regeneration programmes and interdisciplinary planning projects.

Of her appointment, Natalia Uribe said: 鈥淐ities are good for us, at least they can and should be.
