Balfour Beatty Living Places has been awarded a new seven-year contract, valued at 拢315m over the full term to deliver highways maintenance across Warwickshire.
The contract was awarded jointly by Warwickshire County Council, Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
The contract will start in spring 2026 and, at peak, will employ a workforce of approximately 160.
The new contract marks the company鈥檚 third consecutive term for Balfour Beatty on Warwickshire highways, an arrangement that began in 2011 and will now run through to at least spring 2033.
There is an option to extend the contract by a further six-years, to 2039, which would take the total value to 拢900m.
Balfour Beatty Living Places 鈥 Balfour Beatty鈥檚 local road maintenance, street lighting and public realm service provider 鈥 will be responsible for delivering a variety of road maintenance services to more than 5,000 km of roads as well as cyclical maintenance to more than 55,000 streetlights.
