AtkinsRéalis has signed a five-year contract worth £96m to provide Herefordshire Council with a range of services including highway and active travel design, bridge inspections, flood modelling, and environmental and heritage assessments.
The scope also encompasses project management, transport planning, and consultancy support for major infrastructure schemes.
The contract runs from 6th April 2026 to 5th April 2031, with the possibility of a further five-year extension to 5th April 2036

AtkinsRéalis supplies similar services to Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey councils.
