The 126-acre site is being brought forward in partnership with Homes England, and is capable of delivering more than one million sq ft of industrial, manufacturing and logistics space.
The approval marks a major milestone for the development, which is expected to support the creation of more than 2,000 jobs and generate over 拢150 million of investment into the North East economy.
West Hartford Park has already attracted strong interest from occupiers across multiple sectors seeking large-scale, fully-enabled space in a well-connected location, reflecting continued demand for high-quality commercial premises across the region.
The masterplan includes flexible industrial and manufacturing units ranging from 40,000 sq ft to 532,000 sq ft, available on freehold or leasehold terms, alongside office accommodation, innovation-led facilities and supporting retail amenity.
Each building can be tailored to occupier requirements and will benefit from significant power capacity, modern infrastructure and strong transport links.
