Abacus has appointed Steve Kenny as director of project management and Paul Camac as director of cost management to strengthen the senior leadership team.
Their arrival from Aecom comes two years after Abacus was acquired by private equity backed start-up Contollo Group.
The appointments of Kenny and Carmac is intended to support Abacus鈥 growth and investment in capability following its move into Contollo, which has brought together other complementary built environment consultancies including consulting engineers MBA and Tace, M&E consultant ESP and, most recently, project management specialist Kam.

Abacus currently employs 36 people within its Manchester office. Contollo Group employs over 140 people in the northwest, as part of the broader 230-strong organisation, working across national offices. Clients include Alliance Leisure, Barratt Redrow, Bruntwood, Capital & Centric, Glenbrook, Harworth, McLaren Property, Muse, Sport England, Torsion Developments and Vita Group.
