Access Hire Services provides skilled arboricultural, substation and overhead power line management services, primarily to the UK power network operators. Enterprise has existing contracts with most of the main UK companies in the power sector and this acquisition is consistent with the group鈥檚 strategy to broaden the range of services it provides to its customers.
Access Hire Services operates in the Midlands and in Wales and has 62 employees. In the year to March 2010 it had revenue of 拢3.6 million. It will be integrated within Enterprise鈥檚 existing activities, which will allow its specialist skills and experience to be extended to the Group鈥檚 customers and over a broader geographic area.
