Salary: £37,800.00 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plasterer to join a well-established local contractor specialising in social housing maintenance. This role offers a great long-term position carrying out high-quality plastering repairs, refurbishments, and general maintenance across domestic properties within the London Borough of Ealing.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a wide range of plastering works within occupied residential properties, including patch repairs, full wall and ceiling skimming, and making good following other trades.
- Completing responsive plastering repairs to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
- Undertaking patch repairs to walls and ceilings following leaks, electrical works, and other trade activities.
- Applying full skim coats to walls and ceilings to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
- Making good around door frames, windows, sockets, and pipework with attention to detail.
- Preparing surfaces effectively to ensure durable and long-lasting results.
- Mixing and applying plaster using appropriate tools, materials, and techniques.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy work areas at all times, ensuring protection of residents' homes and belongings.
- Using a PDA device to manage, update, and close work orders in real time, ensuring accurate recording of job progress, materials used, and completion notes.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
