Structural Engineer
North London N20
£38k - £48k
A Structural Engineer is sought to join this medium sized multi-disciplinary practice located in modern offices in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a financially sound and well established business.
You should be a pro-active candidate with a few years of varied buildings design experience, keen to join a highly motivated, ambitious and professional team.
You will be working on a variety of building and engineering projects, both new build and refurbishment, ranging tiny up to £20m in value. You must be good at complex and fiddly residential refurbishment works as well as new buildings. The role will most likely suit a candidate from a small or medium sized company background.
Work will involve the design and management of a range of projects from conception through to completion. You should have a good working knowledge of design and construction in a range of materials, from reinforced concrete to structural steelwork, masonry and timber. Projects are currently primarily in the residential sector, from private clients, developers and architects; including basements, extensions, refurbs and blocks of flats. Other projects include educational buildings, commercial properties and retail.
A competitive salary will be offered, along with excellent Chartership training and the further opportunity for career progression.
You must be able to commute to their offices in N20, far North London, without too much difficulty. Street parking is free and easy, and the tube is a few mins walk.
