Location: Farringdon, London (Hybrid Working)
Are you a Senior Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a growing multidisciplinary consultancy?
I'm working with a well-established engineering consultancy that's looking to strengthen its Civil Engineering team in Central London. With around 200 employees globally, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging projects across the industrial, manufacturing and data centre sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll play a key role in delivering projects from concept through to construction, while continuing to develop your technical expertise and progress towards the next stage of your career.
The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, taking responsibility for the design and coordination of civil engineering schemes while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
You'll be involved in:
- Designing highways, drainage, levels, earthworks, utilities and external works.
- Preparing infrastructure designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
- Producing drainage strategies and flood mitigation solutions.
- Managing approvals with Local Authorities, Building Control, statutory undertakers and environmental bodies.
- Delivering Section 104, Section 106 and Section 278 applications.
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to the continued growth of the team.
About You
You'll ideally have around 4-6 years' experience within a UK engineering consultancy and be either Chartered or actively working towards Chartership.
You'll also have:
- Strong experience designing civil infrastructure for development projects.
- Good knowledge of UK design standards, Eurocodes and Building Regulations.
- Experience working with highways, drainage and utility infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to project delivery.
Experience working on industrial, manufacturing or data centre developments would be highly advantageous.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £50,000 - £55,000
- 9-day fortnight
- Hybrid working
- Private healthcare
- Paid professional membership
- ICE-accredited training and development programme
- Dedicated mentor and full Chartership support
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Regular performance and career development reviews
- Clear opportunities for progression within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy
If you're looking to work on technically interesting projects with a business that genuinely invests in its people, I'd be happy to tell you more.
