Multi-Trade Operative

Locations covering Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport, Chichester, Guildford and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join a large property services organisation within their responsive repairs division, providing high-quality joinery/plumbing, multi trade repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties
Job Details:
- Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.
- Social housing contract on responsive repairs with occasional voids
- Paid call-out (1 in 6 weeks approx)
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays, with the flexibility to buy or sell annual leave.
- Company fleet van and fuel card, so no wear and tear on your own vehicle.

About You:
- Multi Trade Operative background, joinery experience essential. The works include the repairs or replacement of various windows, doors, kitchens, tiling & patch plastering is desirable
- Vinyl floor laying (cap and cove) desirable
- Basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, taps.
- Pipework installation and repair, soil stacks and domestic drainage
- Working in tenanted properties on responsive repairs.
- Social Housing experience is essential.
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
- Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
- Following company Health and Safety policies and standards
- NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery/plumbing or multi
- Full UK driving license is required.
- The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
