- Assist in the preparation of candidate shortlists for live construction roles.
- Develop telephone screening questions and structured call scripts to support the selection process.
- Ensure all applicants are accurately recorded and maintained within the candidate database.
Compliance & Right to Work
- Verify candidate documentation including right-to-work evidence, trade cards, and relevant industry certificates, ensuring authenticity and validity.
- Liaise with the compliance team to ensure all processes and standards are consistently upheld.
- Maintain regular communication with site teams to identify and escalate any concerns or irregularities in a timely manner.
Bookings & Site Engagement
- Prepare and issue booking confirmation correspondence to operatives.
- Produce daily workforce allocation schedules for distribution to site management teams.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to accurately reflect site worker placements.
- Attend morning labour drop-offs and conduct periodic site visits to engage with the workforce and build professional relationships.
Person Specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and social media platforms.
- Willingness to attend site visits and build effective working relationships with operatives and site managers.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a genuine interest in recruitment or the construction industry.
