Earthworks Supervisor - Major Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join our team working on large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK.

The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing all earthworks operations on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This is a hands-on supervisory role managing teams, plant, and subcontractors on major civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day earthworks activities (cut & fill, excavation, grading)

Manage site teams, plant operators, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Monitor progress and report to senior management

Coordinate materials, machinery, and labour

Maintain quality standards in line with project specifications

Requirements

Proven experience as an Earthworks Supervisor or similar role

Strong background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects

SSSTS or SMSTS certification

Good leadership and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans

Full UK driving licence
