BMS Project Engineer (ALC) - Data Centre Projects

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 + Yearly Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced BMS Project Engineer with expertise in Automated Logic Controls (ALC) looking to deliver some of Europe's largest and most technically advanced data centre projects?

We're looking for a driven engineer to join a growing projects team, working on the delivery and commissioning of mission-critical Building Management Systems across hyperscale and colocation data centres throughout Ireland.

This is an opportunity to work on high-value projects from installation through to commissioning and client handover, collaborating with leading contractors and major global data centre operators.

The Role

As a BMS Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering ALC Building Management System projects from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Commissioning BMS software, controllers and field devices.

Testing and validating HVAC systems, chilled water plant, CRAH/CRAC units and critical infrastructure.

Carrying out point-to-point testing, functional testing and integrated systems testing.

Working closely with project managers, electrical and mechanical contractors, commissioning teams and end clients.

Modifying BMS software, graphics and control strategies where required.

Supporting FAT, SAT and final client demonstrations.

Producing commissioning documentation, technical reports and as-built records.

Assisting with project planning, snagging and final handover activities.

Desired Experience

Experience delivering ALC Building Management System projects.

Strong commissioning and project delivery background.

Good understanding of HVAC controls and mechanical building services.

Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and IP-based building automation networks.

Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics and panel layouts.

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Full driving licence.
